In the past, if you had crooked teeth, you had no choice but to learn to live with bulky and unsightly braces. Orthodontics doesn’t have to involve rubber bands and metal wires. At Cosmos Dentistry, Dr. Tokiko Poppe provides clear orthodontic aligners in Bellevue, Washington, that shift teeth gently and quietly so you can focus on your life, not your mouth.
Clear aligners don’t call attention to themselves, unlike traditional braces. They are clear, low profile, and don’t become the center of attention when you’re talking. Adults and teens love that they no longer have to hide their smiles in photos.
Dr. Poppe’s patients say it best. I wore them for months, and no one even noticed,” said Jenna M., who didn’t miss her metal days one bit.
Your clear aligners aren’t picked off a shelf. They’re made to match your mouth from the start. Here’s how the process works:
Dr. Tokiko Poppe combines precision and planning so your smile gets the attention it deserves.
Every aligner set is designed using a digital scan of your teeth. No guesswork. The trays shift your teeth step by step, and each one is made to fit you and only you. It’s tech doing what it does best: making things personal and precise without adding stress.
Treatment time depends on your case, but mild misalignments can take as little as six months. Most people start seeing small changes in just a few weeks. Dr. Tokiko Poppe tracks your progress and adjusts if needed. Clear aligners don’t waste time. They move your teeth, plain and simple.
Since the trays come out, you can brush and floss like usual. That means cleaner teeth, fewer cavities, and no food getting stuck. Just remember to clean your aligners daily. A soft toothbrush and mild soap will do the trick. Keep them clear, and your smile stays that way, too.
With traditional metal braces, one of the worst things was not being able to eat a lot of food. Eat popcorn, nuts, apples, steak, and more. Enjoy all the things you’d have to skip with braces. Just pop your aligners out and enjoy. One patient, Ben T., said he never had to skip taco night once. That freedom to eat what you like? It makes sticking to the treatment way easier.
You won’t go it alone. Dr. Tokiko Poppe checks your progress and ensures your teeth are on track. If anything needs adjusting, she’s got it. The team at Cosmos Dentistry is here to support you at every step. Call (425) 448-4770 or visit 1515 116th Ave NE Ste 301, Bellevue, WA 98004.
